Westlake WorkSource Center


The mission of Westlake WorkSource Center is to provide comprehensive business, employment, and training services that are accessible and fully integrated, therefore building a strong community and healthy economy.

Sponsored by the City of Los Angeles Workforce Investment Board, with funding coming from the US Department of Labor, the WorkSource Center offers integrated and comprehensive services for both job seekers and employers.  Acting as the lead of this network, PACE works with other entities co-located at the WorkSource Center.  These entities include community colleges, the California State Employment Development Department (EDD), local public school systems and other community-based agencies.

All activities at this center are customer-focused and performance-based; its ultimate objective is job placement through the following services and programs:

      • •  Community Rehabilitation Program

Work Opportunities Division


The PACE Work Opportunities Division administers a variety of programs that funded by the Los Angeles County Community Development Commission; Los Angeles City Housing Department; and South Bay Workforce Investment Board of the City of Hawthorne.  These programs and services consist of Handyworker Programs, and Subsidized Transitional Employment Program.

The Work Opportunities Division continually strives to embody the mission and values of our organization.  Quality compassionate services provided to our constituent residents are a mainstay of the WOD; while making incremental steps to improve our ability to meet the ever-changing needs of our diverse community.
