This program can provide free assistance on your Gas or Electric Utility Bills. It is designed to help income eligible households offset their heating and cooling costs. Priority is given to the elderly, disabled, and families with young children. You must meet the low income eligibility requirements. This program is funded by the Federal Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program through the State of CA, DCSD. If you qualify, a credit will be posted on your account. In order to assist you, please bring the following documents: • Current Electric Bill – complete bill, page 1 and 2 (must cover at least 22 service days with meter reading) • Current Blue Gas Bill – complete bill page 1 and 2 (must cover at least 22 service days with meter reading) • Proof of Current Monthly Income – Income for everyone that receives income in the household.
